The capacity factor of Istanbul's dams has reached the lowest level in the last 10 years.
According to the information collected from the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Department (ISKI), the fill factor of the dams, which was 55.25% in January last year, decreased to 29.96% by January 23. According to the yearly statistics of January, this January has the lowest occupancy rate of the last 10 years. The other dates when the dams' capacity factor fell below 50% were January 23, 2021 with 31.8% and January 23, 2014 with 32.91%. The fill rate of dams on January 23 was 4.22% in Pabucdere, 4.22% in Kazandere, 06.16% in Alibey, 32.25% in Estrancalar, 22.26% in Elmali, 8.27% in Darlik, 32/32 69% was measured in Omerli, 13.33% in Buyuk-Cekmece, 86.35% in Sazlıdere and 2.36% in Terkos.
